Adaptation of the Enterprise to Digital Economy

Gijon Chamber of Commerce, as part of an initiative managed by the High Council of Chambers, will set up this Program in March. It has been designed to favor the adoption of a technological culture among small and medium enterprises

Its setting up will be developed through simple solutions, not needing any investment in technology nor any special training. In order to do that, the Software as a Service option (SAAS in Spanish) has been suggested. It means the customer does not need to purchase any technological goods; just using a service for which some certain price is paid.

Enterprises will be able to have access to Information Technology not needing much establishment time; they also count with less risks, less initial investment, and the possibility of having a cost prevision—it is actually possible to know the cost of the service, which depends on the different needs and its use

Tools offered to customers –from which they will be able to choose one, within the endorsed suppliers—are the following:

• ERP (Enterprise Comprenhensive Management)
• CRM (Customer Database Management)
• Electronic Invoicing
• Electronic Commerce
• Innovation Management.
